Example #1 - Explain It Simple Like Ramp

Launching an AI Agent?

Best move you can make: skip the jargon, make it simple and practical.

Ramp’s Agent launch video does just that. Clear language. Zero fluff. Direct tie to what finance teams actually care about.

Everyone is talking about agents right now, but somehow, everyone is still confused. Nobody knows what's real.

This is a great example of how to cut through the noise.

Example #2 - Chili Piper Catches the Drift

This is what striking while the iron’s hot looks like πŸ”₯

When Drift announced it was shutting down, Chili Piper swooped in with a simple promise: β€œWe’ll handle your migration.”

In other words ... "We got you"

A clear offer of peace of mind for prospects scrambling to fill the gap left by Drift.

When a competitor leaves customers anxious, the opportunity is yours. Move fast, show life is easier with you, and watch it turn into new bookings.

→ Can Chili Piper catch drifting prospects?

Example #3 - 'How It Works' Turned Demo

Paradigm’s homepage nails the β€œhow it works” section by breaking down their product in three plain steps: upload, enrich, take action.

The standout for me? At each step, there's a simple animation that shows the product in action. It feels like a mini interactive demo.

This kind of walkthrough builds trust fast. No guessing, no overthinking, just a clear picture of what the product does and how it works.

→ It's a delightful little 'How it Works' section

Example #4 - Making a Benefit Undeniable

Crescent doesn’t waste time telling you they’re β€œbetter.” They hit you over the head with it.

The homepage opens with a bold side-by-side: Crescent APY vs big banks vs the US average.

The value gap is undeniable.

As a nice bonus: it’s interactive. Adjust your balance, set a timeframe, and watch your savings stack up.

A great example of how to pick your sharpest edge, make it visual, and let the numbers do the talking.

→ Will Crescent get you interest-ed?

Example #5 - Show, Tell, Prove, Convert

This is a great example of standout storytelling in a simple DTC ad.

It hits all the right notes:

  1. Shows the product
  2. Outlines a clear, relatable problem
  3. Delivers the solution
  4. Layers in social proof
  5. Wraps it all up in a compelling story with conversational copy

I’m seeing this format more and more on TikTok and Instagram. No fluff. No glitz. Just the product and the reasons to buy it.
